Mindfulness and meditation has been integral to my personal life and to my practice as a teacher, clinical supervisor, mentor and counsellor.
As co-founder of THE EVOLUTIONARIES I based the eight-week stress reduction course on the methodology of Jon Kabat-Zinn who introduced mindfulness into mainstream medicine in 1979. I have taught in businesses, schools, colleges and in the charitable sector for over twenty years.
Research at medical centres all over the world suggests that training in mindfulness and MBSR can positively and often profoundly affect participants' ability to reduce medical symptoms and psychological distress while learning to live life more fully.
