Mindfulness based Training

Creating a kinder, calmer, more productive environment for all.
Companies around the world have embraced the practice of Mindfulness Training for management & staff as a way to increase their bottom line. Over ten thousand research papers have been written in the last decade on the positive benefits of Mindfulness in business, these benefits include:

I have been using mindfulness based stress reduction and mindfulness cognitive therapy within my counselling and training programmes in the voluntary, public and corporate sectors for over 20 years.
These workshops include:

  • Understanding and Dealing with Stress and anxiety
  • Working from a trauma informed perspective (for self and others)
  • Assertiveness not anger. Understanding and reframing difficult emotions
  • The Drama Triangle – stepping away from emotional entanglement
  • Diffusing and resolving difficulties and conflicts when they arise
  • Establishing and maintaining clear and acceptable boundaries
  • Clear communication and effective listening.
  • Understanding neurodiversity – In ourselves and others.
  • Meditation and mindful attention – rewiring the brain for health and happiness

Each workshop is unique and aimed specifically at resolving problems and improving productivity. I work closely with management to understand the main aims and objectives for the training.
The number of participants is optional. Prices may vary according to specific requirements, but as a guideline below are some timing suggestions and costings.

Half Day
  • Length: 9.30am until 1.00pm (to include a 15 min. comfort break)
  • Nos.: No limit to the number of participants
Full Day
  • Length: 9.30am until 4.00pm. (including a 45 min. lunch break and 15 min. comfort break)
  • Nos.: No limit to the number of participants

We also offer an eight week programme of weekly one hour virtual sessions.

This programme embeds the learning, and as the practices are maintained over time, this begins to actually alter the structure of the brain, decreasing the areas associated with stress and increasing the more evolved area associated with clarity, decision making and even empathy and compassion.
